Trans JAVA, Back to the Land of Ancestor (Part 2), Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, Jakarta

It's almost four month been trying to update my Trans Java journey. PROCRASTINATION!!!!. Nevermind as long as i keep on renewing my new year resolution and as normal i keeps on piling up my bucket list....LOL!!!

2nd days,

Continuing from my 1st part journey in Jakarta, we planned to visit Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. No excursion transport, so we decided to used public transportation...apa lagi BUS ler. Last night my buddy has done her map revision, as this time was her turn to mastering Jakarta routes. So i let my hair down with honour.

The bus routes that we need to explore as below:

Jalan Jaksa - Halte Pasar Senin
(by 3 wheel tuk tuk- Rp. 10,000-15,000)

Halte Pasar Senin - Halte Kampung Melayu - Halte Cawang Ulu - Halte Pinang Ranti
(by bus- Rp. 3.500 per person)

Halte Pinang Ranti - Taman Mini
(by Angkut-angkut - Rp. 3,000-5,000 per head)

* Each bus trip fare is Rp. 3,000-3,500 only per head

For the info. in Indonesia all the bus stop they called it as Halte or Halt, so jangan nak pening kepala. All this "halte" also was constructed much more higher level from the road level. The reason is to ensure the journey is smooth and fast, all the buses was designed without any steps/stairs. Give a try for Jakarta buses....you won't regret...fast and easy just during peak hours dah macam kat naik LRT KL...hate to be sardines in the can...huh!

Ticket fare to Taman Mini "Indonesia Indah" = Rp. 10,000 per head and open daily from 7.00am - 22.00pm

Others places likes Museum, Castles and so on still need to pay...can  do some checking from Information Centre at the main entrance.

I admit, this mini park not so mini and it is soooo huge. I keeps on hearing the story of this place from my late father and most of peoples whose have been here before. If you want to have little glance of Indonesian culture diversity and their multi peoples and natives...here is the best place.

So ladies and gentleman's, for this 150 hectares you need to marathoning by your own 2 feet's...please make yourself fit before the visit. Yah!!! you have to walk by your own....hehehe ..no worries mates, they providing rental shuttle bus, bikes, train (monorail), motorbikes to discover around.

As it just two of us, we choose motorbikes as we want to save times as much as we can. Rental rates is Rp. 20,000  based on per hours...and we just spent used it for 1 1/2 hours only for Rp. 40,000. Mana taknya dah habis 7 kali tawaf kat Taman Mini ni....

Next, nak kena balik city center and just left one hour before peak hour....huhuhu seriklah bila kena cramping like sardines like yesterday...so we took bluebird cab. Tips: Make sure they used meter during taxing or else you will get slaughter. Toll fare, passenger need to pay ok....jgn buat bodooo bila lalu kat kaunter tol...

Hard Rock Cafe at Plaza Place
As to reducing transportation cost, we took half way journey to city centre then continued by bus as we still have top up from Flazz card. During transit we unexpectedly bump into Hard Rock Cafe at Pacific Place...so apa lagi mestilah masuk and finally terbeli ler souvenir...haish...mahal tuuuu....tolong budget yer...

So tonight we repeating to visit Grand Indonesia to buy some 'jajan' and dreaming as the rich and famous in Indonesia...walaaa....as less act as one hahaha....but still having dinner at "warung pojok" in Jalan Jaksa...

Surau or Moshollah in Grand Indonesia...class!!! ada reception..
